Escort Passport 9500i Radar and Laser Detector Review

First off, the V1 is a fantastic and ultra-sensitive detector. I’ve had three of them in the past 10-years. The range is fantastic and it saved me countless times. It does have the arrows, which are great and all, but I found myself not really needing to know where the threat was coming from. What I really wanted was to 1) know the threat was real and 2) slow down to the posted speed limit if it was. The V1 never delivered on the “Is it real part?”. It was always barking at me, proud to point me to various non-threatening radar-sources in the city or along the highway. Yes, it saved my ass a lot, but the noisy commute was getting to me.

I purchased a 9500i after reading some favorable reviews online. After one week, I knew this style of detector was right for me. The sensitivity was very equitable to the V1, but it shined because of its built-in GPS feature. I pass by six K-based RADAR Speed Limit signs each way on my commute. With GPS marking, I could easily lock out those specific non-threatening signals. The next time I would pass by, the system would be silent. When approaching one of these “marked” locations, the GPS icon on the display would start to rotate. This was essentially the 9500i saying, “I’m picking up the radar signal, but I’m not “bleeping” because you told me this exact location is not a threat”. Simply awesome! The unit is quiet until an unknown threat is detected. When it detects something, it alerts me and I slow down. A few seconds later, I’m usually smiling as I drive by a LEO at the posted speed limit.

Like I said, simply awesome.

Mac vs. PC

Posted by flach on February 7th, 2010 under Greenville  •  No Comments

The point of this article is not for you to buy a new computer. I just want to say the advantages and disadvantages between a PC and Mac, I decided to go Mac for several reasons. We hope you find this useful when you are looking for a new computer.

I had a guy die hard PC until I got a job as a video technology at my church. They used only portable Mac At first I hated them. I did not feel right not to have Windows. But once you've learned to work on a MacI was in love with them ever sense!

There is a great advantage especially for work on a computer that does not use the Windows operating system. Windows requires a lot of space and memory on a computer system. This from the outset may adversely affect your system. What I find on the Mac is the fastest way everything worked.

Secondly, the Mac has a very user friendly. This is evident when you install the software. On a PC, you insert the disk, until the beginninguntil the installation program, go through a ton of steps, and wait several minutes for the program is truly functional. A Mac will not be installed completely different. You insert the disc, the icon appears on the screen with a single file, you drag the file into the folder you want to be put in and it is.

Another feature I like on a Mac is its air port. Basically, the mode of receipt of your Mac wireless Internet. If your house is set with a wireless Internet connection or you go to a WiFi spotMac'll quickly get the signal. On a PC, there are many steps to do online.

Finally we talk about the video / media benefits of new Mac Your Mac comes with a suite of program called Life. In this series, you have a program called I-Movie. You can make a professional video using this program. Import video in this program and you're ready to make your movie. You have tons of choices of transitions, add titles, effects, etc. Once you have finished takingfor DVD video and you're done. Windows has a program on their machines called Windows Movie Maker. Not necessarily a bad program. You can make simple video that will look OK. But you do not even able to remotely like the Mac

Thank you for taking the time to read this article. Once again, I'm not saying you should buy a Mac, but I hope some of this information will be useful if you're in the market for a new computer.

A few centuries later, Christians in Mexicobelieve that the star-shaped leaves symbolizes the Star of Bethlehem which led Joseph and Mary to the stable where Jesus was born. This, combined with the fact that the factory was in full bloom during the Christmas period, has caused people to join in the celebration, which is why they are always plant the most widely used during this special time of year for decorating.

Longthere is a poor child who was said to roam the streets on Christmas Eve on his way to church concerned he had no gift for the Christ child on his birthday. He chose a weed growing along the street and took them to church where the congregation said that all humble gift given out of love was good enough, and soon the weeds turned into leaves and red green, causing people to call a Christmas miracle.

Originally from Central America, those ofNorth America can thank a man named Joel Roberts Poinsett to bring the plant with him to the States after visiting Mexico while serving there as the first ambassador of the United States in early 1800. Poinsett, the son of a French physician, is a botanist from Greenville, South Carolina, who has already attended medical school, but took a great interest in plant life.

While in southern Mexico, Poinsett noticed the bright red flowers blooming in abundance in an area known asTaxco de Alarcon. Because he had his claws at home, all excited, he sent some plants where it always began and quickly share them with your friends and colleagues.

Now, the poinsettia can be found in different colors, plus red Christmas. Poinsettias poisonous?

Of course, the flower is not intended to be ingested and can cause a cat or doghave a stomach ache after eating a lot "of them, but it is not necessary for owners of pets to avoid appreciate the beauty of the poinsettia at Christmas for fear of 'Accidental poisoning.

Think and Grow Rich – Leaders and leadership

Napoleon Hill, author of "Think & Grow Rich, said:" It is a shame to be a follower. On the other hand, there is no credit to remain a follower. Most great leaders began to act as disciples. " In this article we will review the leaders and key attributes of leadership.

Leaders may indeed be born as such, but many have started as a "smart follower" in the terminology of Mr. Hill. A person of this type is more likely to become a leaderthemselves.

The experience gained by a leading expert intelligent follower is invaluable.

What are the main attributes of a leader?

Unwavering courage in terms of their confidence in themselves and their jobs.
Self-control that allows them to show by example that their followers to emulate intelligent.
Justice in their judgments and the ability to be impartial.
Determination of the decision on the basis of their confidence in themselves.
Sharpness plans to ensure that their supporters and maintain the route.
Willingness to do more than ask their followers regardless of compensation.
People who naturally command respect from their followers.
The sympathy and understanding from their followers when they encounter problems.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to assume responsibility for errors arising from their incompetence follower.
Spirit of cooperation with their supporters, whichthe cooperative effort by all.

Napoleon Hill was ranked as the direction or with the consent or by force. As illustrated by the two groups, supporters or follow with or without their consent and personal sympathy.

He believed, and certainly agree, that leads with the consent and sympathy of the followers is better for all concerned.

E 'was also the opinion that carries the force would soon give way to the right of consent. His vision of the future roleleaders was that it would be very different, at least it is for business. We have yet to fully realize his vision.

Why should we aspire to be a leader?

In the proceedings of Mr. Hill to wealth, leadership, as a personal way of marketing a service, is a compensation for services rendered. If monetary compensation is not possible, we would have a way to "restore" we are indebted, directly or indirectly, as in"Return" to a community.

Few of us go very far on our own. Most of us at one time or another had to look strong leader, conscious and efficient. Learning to drive following the leader.

The world is constantly looking for those who are qualified and ready to assume this role.

"This need may be your chance," Napoleon Hill "Think and Grow Rich"

Valentine One Radar Detector

Valentine One Radar Detector Review

I own three of these units- that alone should give a good indication of how I feel about them. There are other detectors with similar range, and some may even exceed the range of the V1. But the directional arrows found on the V1 are an unbeatable feature. Once you have gotten used to knowing where a threat is coming from it is impossible to live with a detector that doesn’t provide this information. Combined with the “bogey counter” the information provided by the detector in an easy-to-use format is first-rate. It becomes very easy to gauge the threat level of a signal, and also becomes easy to locate traps placed in close proximity to each other or known false signals.
As for cons, the V1 is probably due for a major update- with fixed-location cameras and speed traps coming on-line, a GPS option with tagging will become a necessity. Other manufacturers have already embraced GPS, and V1 will have to follow suit. For me at least, the capabilities of the V1 still make it a more practical unit for the time being, and it’s performance on highways is unmatched. If you’re in the market for a detector with an excellent blend of features and performance, this is it. But buy it direct for 9.

Reduce costs by the Small Business Health Insurance

Posted by flach on January 23rd, 2010 under Greenville  •  No Comments

As an employer, your goal is to provide customers with excellent service, and your employees a great work environment. Find affordable small business health insurance plan is a way to do both.

It "is well known that people who love their work perform better than them. Safety and comfort contribute to productivity and ingenuity. Happy employees are also easier to maintain, being more willing to work through work related adversity.

What do youand decide on the most effective solution to your problems of health care. Even if a group plan provides the best coverage for all, you can also put pressure on the pockets of the employer.

The group's plans are known for their ever-increasing premiums. Prices have risen by up to 30 percent per year for certain small businesses. These types of peaks occur for reasons such as older members to participate in group and medical activities in the previous year. Even a 15%increase in the already expensive plan can dramatically change the profit forecast and the ability of the company to hire employees.

There are certain things you can do to lower your health insurance for small businesses.

Start by shopping around. Use eHealthInsurance Netquote or find a provider. EHealthInsurance is an insurance broker, not an agent, so the goal is to find the best service for your business. A broker must submit plans for several companies to help you, an agentworks for an insurance company. At first glance, a broker may seem the way forward. But officials usually have more weight with their employer for a large. It is best to do your research and decide. If you take your broker, be sure to check their backgrounds. Call the toll of the Commissioner of Insurance of the State to determine if they have had a recent disciplinary action or legal action against them.

Another way to contain costs is to establish a program of wellness. Wellnessis a program designed to promote healthy living. Find a local gym to offer your employees discounts. Put a little "water in the refrigerator instead of soda. Start a competition to lose weight. Improving the health of workers are less prone to diseases and physical problems. They are also more energy and contribute more the working environment.

You can choose to pay a higher deductible. Put more money in advance can reduce premiums significantly. You should also ask for higher wagesCo-pays for doctor visits. This option may not be popular among those who frequently visit the doctor, but may encourage them not to go more often. Plus, a frequent visitor is required to make your premium go up next year.

There are alternatives to an activity minimum health insurance group plan. Are you familiar with health savings accounts (HSA), ASF, HRAS, MRA? There are different types of accounts used to help employers control their costs and not be subject to annualhigher premiums. In most cases this is done with dollars before tax for employees and what can be helped by a tax at the end of the year. Do your research, because knowledge of options allow you to take a more informed decision.

Everything you need to know about driving without insurance

Posted by flach on January 22nd, 2010 under Greenville  •  No Comments

Everything you need to know about driving without insurance. First, driving without insurance is against the law. The laws relating to insurance laws are often referred to as fiscal responsibility. One hundred thousand dollars of protection against injury is recommended in addition to three hundred thousand per incident.

If you think you can get away with it, you may be right. But if you're wrong, there is a price to pay. Penalties for driving withoutInsurance includes suspensions, fines and even jail.

Not all people from driving without insurance is a criminal mentality, or to seek an easy solution. My wife forgot our bill is due the day after a letter was sent to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, stating that there had been driving without insurance. Then we had proof of insurance during the time that our failures insurance, which was only a week or sign a document stating that we are not driving the car when he was insured. This is an unnecessary nuisance to a life already occupied. Try to stay on top of your premiums. Pay one week in advance to prevent accidents.

You are not covered in case of accident. If you cause an accident, will be responsible for all damages and costs. If you are found to share responsibility in the accident insurance of the other party pay part of their client. You may be covered if the other party cover uninsured motorists, but you must understand thatcover uninsured motorists is not an obligation that is respected in every condition. Finally, if the other party to blame, then their insurance company will pay the damages. And if the driver is not insured, then get a lawyer because he is about to get ugly for both.

If you still think you absolutely need to drive without insurance, please account for the other drivers on the road that will be financially responsible. Drive carefully and try to keepcars off the road as possible.

Sales Results on the merit system

Posted by flach on January 18th, 2010 under Greenville  •  No Comments

Image : http://www.flickr.com

I opened the newspaper last night and turned to the sports page. The first article I noticed was published under the title: Elderly Clemson cap career.

He lives in Greenville, SC, the Clemson Tigers are a bigger problem every year but this year – 2009 – Clemson won their division of the Atlantic Coast Conference. Orange tiger paws are a little "wherever you look: the mailboxes of fans waving flags from their balconies, their goals and basketball from time to timesee the tail of a tiger dragging trunks fan, especially the day of play.

When our youngest son played soccer and participated in an end of the Team of the Year of the reunion with one of the houses of the player, I asked my wife to describe the house. His answer: "Early Clemson. The lamps were made by Clemson orange helmets … I say more?

But I digress. The article begins: "For every CJ Spiller, his career in 7416 meters, there is a Ronald Watson, eight feet of career. For eachKavel Conner, who had 96 tackles this season, there is a Jess Bowers, a visit which are relayed through practice without any prospect of playing even a single click. "

Like football and most of all colleges and professional sports, however, players who are mostly of the game are those who have more talent, those who give the team the best chance of winning . Rarely has politics come into play without distinction of race, national origin, etc., the best players willthe field of play to win.

Sport use the merit system to decide who will play the position.

The same goes for sales. No matter how many degrees you have hanging on the wall, regardless of your personal image, and regardless of your heritage, most vendors of persuasion that customers consider most valuable are the vendors who will be most successful.

The union of workers, seniority is more important than talent.

In the House of United Statesand the Senate, the same is true triumph of talent seniority.

But in sales, outweighs any other talent.

Like athletes who are born with exceptional eye-hand coordination, many sellers are born with a natural inclination to work with people to keep and honor their commitments. However, just because you do not have a strong orientation to the birth of sale does not mean you can develop these skills throughout your career.

Unlike Jess Bowers who participatedyet received any practice at Clemson, not one second of playing time, I've never heard of a seller who practiced hard and worked hard on the skills of its sales that have not been able to conclude a sale. The only way for a seller to avoid making a sale now is not to make a sales call. Enough with the persistence and tenacity, and all vendors can sell. It is only a matter of what you sell.

Another important factor of sales success is consistency, it is actually quitethe right to sell the assets of each day. Examples

• Writing thank you cards
• Make sales calls
• Improve the selling skills to watch a DVD sales, listen to CD sales, attending seminars and sales books reading sale
• Conduct research and homework
• Improve product knowledge
• Improve knowledge of client companies
• Make phone calls
• Referral requests
• principles of sound learning activities to share with clients andPerspective
• Create a library of best business practices to share with customers and prospects

The coming year promises to be another difficult year in many industries. In 2010, vendors will not be able to just sit back and rake in orders flocking in.

But one thing I can guarantee you next year: the hardest working and most talented vendors that offer more value to their customers and prospects will come out on top in theirrespective markets.

Work From Home Answer the question – How?

Posted by flach on January 15th, 2010 under Greenville  •  No Comments

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Mention the work at home and usually one of the first questions will be asked, "How much? I would probably ask the same thing. Is the tag "price" really matter? What we all want to really determine the value.

Think about it. If the price was a real problem, how anyone could justify spending thousands of dollars for the latest entertainment center?

Motivation is the real problem. The real question is, can justify the cost of this opportunity? Thecost to start working from home, control becomes a little more.

"How" is a way to consciously and unconsciously determine the value.

Lets look at some examples of what is really required:

Price: What does this work at Home opportunity cost real money?
Back: What will I get (sort of) what is it?
Worth: What is an opportunity worth something else? Who is not usually considered is the "cost" not to take aopportunities.

The real challenge in terms of marketing is to present the value of an opportunity so as to overcome the "price" objection. If a person believes that something has value for them, there's really very little "selling" involved.

Understand and believe that people do what he really wants to do.

Look at sports and leisure. Who is involved can not necessarily "afford" to. Psychologically and emotionally think and feeltheir participation is valid whatever the cost.

Marketing and sales, real or perceived, as part of a $ 50 clothes that can sell for $ 500 with the appropriate label. The buyer simply to justify the purchase.

As marketing, you and I need to get the value of our work from home opportunities in a manner that respects the justification "buyer" to avoid remorse "buyer". Motivation is a powerful force.

Therefore, lifestyle marketing and emotion than cold realityis so powerful. It can be a numbers game, as some say, but does not have the power of perception.

I believe in what I do and you too. Work at home, in my case, Internet marketing is a fantastic opportunity. The only problem is our market does not affect our passion and enthusiasm.

What interests us, first, that's what's in it for me and my family? How does this help me? That will give me what I now? How does this make me feel?Etc.

Just answer the real question. What is it worth it chance to work from home?
